Come and make a a special memento for Valentine’s Day in the studio of former The Great Pottery Throwdown judge and award-winning ceramicist Sue Pryke! Sue will be relocating her studio in April, so this is the last chance to make pottery with her in North Kilworth!

Within 2 hours you’ll be able to switch off and have fun with friends or loved ones making a special piece of pottery using Sue’s unique coloured porcelain clay. Sue will show you how to shape and form a bowl which you can decorate with a special message or motif impressed into the clay. A glass of prosecco will top off the evening and add to this celebratory occasion!

The ideal luxury experience to learn from the team of one of the UK’s premier potters, we would love to welcome you to for a special Valentine’s pottery workshop in our large, bright and airy studio in North Kilworth, Leicestershire on Wednesday 13th February from 6-8pm

A dedicated space which champions the elegant beauty of porcelain, Sue’s studio showroom will help you to be inspired as you craft a bowl for your loved one using a variety of coloured porcelain, created specifically for these experiences. Our exceptionally trained studio team will guide you through the technique of press moulding; using rolled out clay which is pressed into the surface of a mould, before being made bespoke to you through applying texture, additional colours and stamping effects.

This workshops make an ideal gift experience, or would be a wonderful opportunity to hand-make something special alongside your loved one. Bowls produced at the workshop will be fired and glazed for you and will be ready to collect or have posted to you within 10 days of your class. You can also buy Sue’s coloured porcelain for £10/kilo and practice at home.

The workshop is for a maximum of 8 people and lasts two hours. It takes place on Wednesday 12th February from 6-8pm

Everything you need to know:

1. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

2. All materials will be provided.

3. Please wear suitable clothing for working in a ceramic workshop as there is a likelihood your clothes may get dirty. We advise you to bring your own apron.

4. If you would like to buy two tickets, we are happy to offer a £20 discount per pair of tickets purchased. Just go ahead and book your 2 places and we will refund you £20 on your order.

The workshops will take place at: Sue Pryke Studio, Unit 6 Evergreen Field Farm, Pincet Lane, North Kilworth, Leicestershire, LE17 6NE. There’s plenty of parking available, please see the signage for Parking For Units 5A-E & Unit 6.

Cancellation policy.

A full refund will only be given if the refund is received 2 weeks prior to the course. Cancellations between 2 weeks and 5 days of the workshop means the session can be transferred to another workshop date.

Cancellations within five working days of a booking the session will still be charged at the full fee and no refund given.

We reserve the right to cancel any courses if it’s not feasible to run the session and will try to organise a suitable date for you, otherwise a full refund will be given.
