Introduction to Pottery
Introduction to Pottery
Saturday 18th January Introduction to Pottery 11-1pm £45
An introduction to pottery, suitable for all, but particularly great for beginners to get to grips with this wonderful material.
This class will introduce you to pottery; using a handful of soft clay you’ll be able to form it and shape it to form a bowl using Sue’s specially prepared coloured porcelain, which you can further decorate using stamps and texturing processes. The results will be further transformed by firing, which will bring out the colours of the clay!
Whilst building your confidence with clay you’ll be completely immersed in this absorbing process and the 2 hours will fly.
There are 3 individual sessions to chose from, 2 Saturday’s and a Friday morning, or you can book onto all 3 to increase your skills levels and make more advanced pieces each time.
